Frequently asked questions

Which mail servers are supported?

All IMAP-capable servers: Exchange (IMAP enabled), Gmail, Outlook/Microsoft 365, Dovecot, Courier, Plesk/Courier, cPanel servers and any standard IMAP installation with TLS.

Are folders and flags migrated?

Yes — the full folder hierarchy (inbox, subfolders, sent, drafts), all flags (read/unread, replied, flagged) and timestamps are transferred 1:1.

How secure is the migration?

The connection runs exclusively over TLS/SSL. Credentials are transferred encrypted, discarded after migration and never stored or shared. Hosted in Germany (GDPR).

How long does a mailbox migration take?

Depends on volume: small mailboxes in minutes, large archives in hours. The migration runs in the background — you can watch progress live and transfer multiple messages in parallel.

Are emails lost during migration?

No. The migration works incrementally - every message is transferred verified, resuming after interruption.

How long does a migration take?

Depending on data volume and server performance - typically a few minutes to a few hours.

Are my credentials stored?

Only while the migration runs - afterwards they are deleted. Transfer happens directly between the servers.
